If you ever want to create a website, WordPress is the go-to content management tool. WordPress helps you quickly and easily publish content. Moreover, you need not worry about the hassle of coding a website from scratch.
Now, in your journey as a blogger, chances are you might want to reconsider some of the content you have already published on your platform.
Some of your posts might need a little retouch while the rest just needs to vanish from the eyes of your readership. You can achieve that by simply changing the status of your posts to “Draft”. This way, you still have access to your posts and edit as you wish via your dashboard.
Once signed into your WordPress dashboard, click “Posts” in the sidebar on the left to display all posts.
Select the post you wish to stop publishing by ticking the checkbox next to it
Locate the “Quick Edit” link next to the “Edit” link by hovering your mouse right under the title then click the link.
WordPress loads the Quick Edit screen. Look for the “Status” pull-down menu located on the right side.
Click the Status pull-down menu, select “Draft” and then click the “Update” button to stop publishing your post.
